In this role, you'll perform in-depth eye examinations, expertly manage various ocular conditions, and be instrumental in providing personalised, high-quality care that truly transforms patients' lives. Job specification - Advise patients on optimal eye health and proper use of contact lenses. - Conduct comprehensive eye exams using advanced diagnostic tools. - Customize eyewear, including glasses and contact lenses, for individual patients. - Diagnose and treat various eye conditions, such as cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. - Maintain meticulous patient records, including exam results and treatment plans. - Provide pre- and post-surgery care for optimal recovery and eye health. Role scope

  • Deliver sight tests, clinical assessment and patient communication to a consistently high standard.
  • Use professional judgement around referral, clinical escalation and patient education.
  • Work with the practice team to keep clinics safe, smooth and commercially aware without rushing clinical quality.

Candidate profile

  • Must have a Doctor of Optometry degree.
