Job specification - Perform comprehensive eye examinations using advanced diagnostic equipment to evaluate vision and identify ocular conditions. - Diagnose and treat eye diseases, including conditions such as glaucoma and cataracts. - Prescribe corrective spectacles and contact lenses to meet patient needs. - Provide expertise in myopia control, offering tailored solutions to manage progression. - Educate patients on preventive care and the importance of regular eye check-ups. - Work closely with patients to ensure optimal eye care, delivering a patient-focused experience. - Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, adhering to professional and regulatory standards. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and provide referrals as necessary to support holistic patient care. - Stay informed about advancements in optometry and integrate innovative techniques into practice. Role scope
- Deliver sight tests, clinical assessment and patient communication to a consistently high standard.
